The Story behind the art

This is the second uterus I draw with watercolors in my studio in Caracas. This illustration was born from my desire to heal, to understand what my remining cyst was trying to show me. From the belief I could heal myself by listening to my body. 

Plants are constantly growing, and while they do, they drop leaves that are not strong enough, and in their place they grew new ones, greener stronger ones, this way, with their constant healing, they stay alive annd thriving ad adapting to any place you place them. 

In this uterus illustration I wanted to add an orchid, orchids bloom when they have the correct conditions and if they are comfortable they will give you flowers constatly no matter what.

Somethig I also LOVE about orchids is that they might look dead, a single vine with no flowers, but they are very much a live and ready to start giving flowers. 

This dishwasher, very resistant clear sticker is the perfect reminder that we, like plants, are capable of healing by letting go what is not working for us the make room for new and  better. A reminder that we create or life. 

Perfect for waterbottles, phone cases or any other surface. They won't peel or desingtegrate, believe me, they will stick!
